Metamorphosed manganese-iron deposit with extremely complex skarns and pegmatites. Around 300 minerals have been found here, of which 30 minerals have been found only here. See also the related deposits of Jakobsberg and Harstigen.
NB. It is prohibited by Swedish law to collect at certain places in Långban.
