A lead-zinc-silver-phosphoric acid mine owned by Bunker Hill Mining Co. Inc. Operated for almost 100 years starting about 1881 and closed 1981. Restarted 1988 but closed forever. US Army Corps of Engineers awarded the contract to reclaim the entire site.
