An outstanding mint green garnet from the Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mts, Simanjiro District, Manyara Region, Tanzania! This specimen features two unusually shaped garnets with a wonderful color. The crystals are quite gemmy, letting a lot of light through. The unusual shape of the main garnet lends itself to a very aesthetic display angle. Some minute pyrite crystals can be seen scattered about the main crystal. No significant damage.
