A very nice specimen of natrolite on serandite from Mont St HIlaire, in Quebec Canada! This specimen features an elongated cluster of white natrolite crystals that have formed between a group of bladed serandite crystals. The natrolite is coated and/or stained with some other mineral I could not remove, giving it a brownish color in certain areas. The contrast of the off-white natrolite with the salmon-hued serandite is beautiful, and is accentuated nicely by small, black, acicular crystals of aegerine.
