Minerals Newspaper - Issue 2

The third issue of MINERALS, the newspaper for collectors, is now available. This newspaper edited by Tomasz Praskier and Scott Werschky is published twice a year, and given out free of charge at all major mineral shows. The third issue has articles on the golden calcites of Malmberget Sweden, the Benitoite Gem mine and an interview Italian collector Adalberto Giazotto.

It is available as a free download from Mindat.org. The download link is at the bottom of this page.

You can pick up a printed copy for free at the Munich Show. It will also be available at Tucson next year.

It was also given out, free of charge, at the annual Geological Society of America conference in Minneapolis, MN last week.

Excellent quality of the Newspaper, though there is likely a misprint on the chrysoberyl sixling labeled as brazilianite 13 cm across (the 13 cm brazilianite in question appears later in the newspaper). Looking very much forward to the next issue!

We have some mineral collections as Cuprite with native copper, malachite with Azurite...
