Both of us are retired. I was a materials engineer for 31 years and Fran taught chemistry at St. Catherine's College. We both have chemistry degrees and I have an undergraduate degree in Geology. Since I've retired, I've been volunteering at the Science Museum of Minnesota. I work behind the scenes in the Paleontology Lab preparing fossils. The Museum was given a private collection and I have been identifying the rocks and minerals that had no identification on them. I am also trying to identify locations for some of the specimens.

I have a very small personal collection of rocks, minerals and fossils mostly because we live in a small house and there is no place to show them off.
