In the middle of the week...

27th Nov 2007

A middle of the week… catching up thing…

Was a trip out last weekend as usual, not to Tvedalen this time, but still to a couple of larvikite quarries; Malerød and Vardåsen. But just like in Tvedalen, nothing exiting to tell about. I went there on Saturday and the weather was awful, windy and wet… Only thing to do was taking photos… (one was taken two weeks ago tho… the Arent quarry one…)

So the most interesting thing to write about is the parcel received lately. I got one parcel a couple of weeks ago and one big last week. Both because I posted my trade as an article here on Mindat. Still there are a lot of e-mails I haven’t answered – sorry, sorry and sorry to those of you it concern! I’m answering mails as soon as one trade has been finished, just to know what I have left…

But I will recommend all other that have a trade list/swap list to try to post it on their Mindat homepages! It’s just as easy to maintain as on your own PC. It takes some work (I’m not finished with mine – concerning linking minerals and localities on my list, to minerals and localities on Mindat) to get it posted, but not that much work. I copied and pasted my excel file, and then reworked the list. Took a couple of hours, but the list is pretty long…

Well… I have other things to do… I got a box last week with 25 new mineral species for my collection to work with. Pleasant work to do tho…

Why there wasn’t a trip report on Saturday after visiting, Malerød and Vardåsen? Well, I went home to my parents, and had this year first lutefisk meal, it was delicious!
