Harvard Mineralogical Museum Visit

23rd Feb 2012

We took advantage of the fact that the Harvard Museum of Natural History in Cambridge, MA is open free to state residents on Wednesday evenings and payed a visit to the mineral department. The place was great, and I would highly recommend it! Quite a good variety of specimens, as well as a nice (albeit quite small) display of local New England peices. The other departments were quite interesting as well. Definitely planning on taking a second trip.

I know, they're awesome! Imagine how much they must be worth! The ME elbaites were awesome too, as well as the Ashaway Village amethysts.
