Went to Tvedalen, and started this time the walk up to A/S Monzonite, or Vevja 2 as we prefer to call the quarry. I see that I need to add this quarry to Mindat… There was nothing to find, neither in the quarry nor on the dumps, so I headed back to the car, taking a stop looking down into Bjørndalen quarry, nothing exciting to see there either.

I drove to next locked gate, and started walking again, up to the Hauane quarry. There was nothing to find, so it was just to keep on walking. Then checked Almenningen quarry, but it was still no work going on there. In Saga Pearl quarry (another I need to add to Mindat) they were also working in a boring area of the quarry, so back to the car again.

Last stop was Larvik Granitt A/S, the central quarry in Tvedalen (and on my new “going to add to Mindat” list). Again nothing to find…

Weather was ok, nice warm, but it rained a little… Found more signs of spring, but I have to cheat with the photos, forgot my camera today. So I use some older photos…
