Continued my efforts in photography yesterday. Were not the items so small it might have gone much better. Then I lost several hours trying to figure out why one Gold crystal just would not photograph - finally, I figured out that was going on was light was reflecting through layers of electrum scales! At least it was not me for a change!

Swauk Creek Mine is an active mine outside of Liberty, Washington. The examples I posted are what are currently being found and sent to the smelter! Simply gorgeous micro-crystals of Gold on wires and leaves! Glad I could save a few before they were consigned to the melt...
