6th Aug 2008

Topaz

This piece offered a craftsman stopped next to the (5 Line) of Metro system of Santiago, Chile. that besides topaz had tourmalines, jasper, tonalites, lazuritas and a obsidian. In principle, it offered this piece to about thousand pesos (2 US Dollars), until we established the following conversation:

Me: And to how much it leaves the Topaz me?

Street Seller: Thousand Pesos (2 US Dollars)

Me: ah… good, give me the tourmaline, not more (1 Dollar)

Street Seller: Your you are jeweler?

Me: No, I only collect minerals

Street Seller: Then, take it by (Half Dollar), because I to the jewelers him more expensive selvage because later with its jewels they have fed up gain, but if you only collect minerals, in addition take this pyrite, lapis lazuli and tonalite for your collection.

My smile was permanently while was watching my new pieces in the train run to my house. And the people next to me, see me like a strange bug XD
