Zuhl Collection and the Luna Mimbres Museum

17th Sep 2008

For those in the Las Cruces and Deming areas, two great places to visit are the Zuhl Collection and the Luna Mimbres Museum. The Zuhl Collection is an excellent collection of fossils, minerals, and Petrified Wood not seen in most museums.

Las Cruces: The Zuhl Collection is located at two separate locations at New Mexico State University (NMSU). The first location is the University Library and the second location is the Alumni and Visitor's Center. More information can be obtained at the following website: http://www.nmsu.edu/~geology/zuhl/zuhl.html

Deming: The Luna Mimbres Museum is located in Deming off South Silver. More information can be obtained at the following website: http://deminglunamimbresmuseum.com/
