More updates and things I'm doing

6th Apr 2009

I've been playing around with Twitter, the microblogging service, and I've set up a twit under the name 'mindat'. I think I'll use this primarily for status announcements on mindat, and to keep people informed of developments, where I am going (shows, etc). If you want to keep an eye on this then follow my twitter feed.

And I'm doing more recruitment sites. After the two I did last week, I decided to do two more, with the aid of my brother who does all the design work, and so consequently we now have a site dedicate to California Tourism Jobs to follow on from our sites for Hawaii and Florida. Not sure where to do next in the US, North Dakota Tourism Jobs maybe? :)

And to show it's not just the US we cover, we've also added a site for Australia Tourism Jobs which, as the name says, covers the whole of Australia and the various tourist opportunities within.

I also spent some time updating one of my older sites, which is a site for Jobs in Canada and is one of the more successful sites in our group. This one has been running since Jan 2007 so it's about time it had a cleanup.

Sounds as though you are busy and productive both.
I would like to thank you for having Mindat for all of us to use and for your great efforts to keep it running smoothly.
Thanks Jolyon.

I am constantly amazed as to how much work you do on the web, besides Mindat.
Mindat is the only site that I visit more than once EVERY day. Even more than all technical sites that I visit trying to understand tax laws and the like.
Don't know if I'll ever understand twitter - can't get my head around blogs yet - maybe one day.
Keep it up Jolyon
