Ok . I'm a virgin Blogger so here it goes.

Tomorrow I'm going to Hvalfjordur here in Iceland to do some long awaited rockhounding. A site world renowned for zeolites including; Yugawaralite, Garronite, Analcime, Chabazite, Epistilbite, Heulandite, Laumontite, Levyne, Mesolite, Stellurite, Stilbite, Thompsonite, Mordenite, Cowlesite, Taumasite, Gismondine, Apophyllite, Okenite, Ilvaite, Gyrolite, Hematite, Flourite, Calcite, Quartz, and maybe Skolesite, Phillipsite, and Reyerite. ALL IN ONE. WOW!!! Yes I'm excited. It all started a few months ago when I found this book on Icelandic minerals and it had a picture of sky blue Apophyllite. I thought, "My God, I'm only an hours drive from Hvalfjordur, why hav'nt I been there sooner.

So tomorrow I wake up, drop the kids off for school, load up the car with all my gear, fill up the gas and away I go.
