A few days ago my freind asked if I wanted to go to Cornwall next year for mineral collecting, needless to say I happily accepted his offer!
Ok, I have to wait until next year, but I am so excited I just had to make it my first blog entry!
I have been assigned to choose the locations we will visit, as we only have 2 days we dont have time to explore a load of places so i decided to look for 2 locations that would have parking fairly nearby, and easily accesible, not requiring permision to collect there, and most importantly, gauranteed to find at least some minerals.
I decided on Cligga head as one location and with some advice from Jolyon we will also explore the dumps at Bottalack mine.
So, now I just have to wait! (the reason we're waiting till next year is so there are more hours of sunlight)
