Pinnacle 5 Minerals LLC is the sales company for Glacier Peak Mining LLC. Glacier Peak has been in business since 1986 and has been mining Colorado minerals since then. Presently, Glacier Peak has a joint venture with Colorado Calumet Co. to mine amazonite and smoky quartz from their respective claims in the Crystal Peak region. They are currently producing some of the best specimens ever found, especially from the Smoky Hawk Mine. Glacier Peak also owns the Topaz Mountain Gem mine at the foot of the Tarryall Mountains and is producing both topaz specimens and fine cutting rough. Pinnacle 5 Minerals sells mine produced specimens as well as fine world-wide mineral specimens, primarily at gem and mineral shows, including Denver in the fall and spring and Tucson.
