About us

On the Rocks Altea is a shop with a very large collection of minerals, fossils, animal figures, spheres, eggs, precious stones and jewellery. Everything is handmade of natural stones, fossils and shells.

We also sell all the products worldwide true this website. On the Rocks Altea is a shop for everybody, but also for other shops or dealers. We have special prices for them.



Who are we ?

Aad & Jacqueline van der Slot and Hans & Ria Banis are friends and colleges for more then 20 years.

The two company's in Holland stopped en together they started a new company in Spain, named: On the Rocks Minerales SL.

Aad en Jacqueline where the owners from 1998 till 2008 of one of the most successful shops in the Netherlands

They have many years of experience on shows and buy there merchandise at the source. They travelled to America, Brazil, China, India and Bali

Many items have there own design and Jacqueline makes the most necklaces herself with different stones and silver beads.

Hans en Ria are travelling to Madagascar for more than 15 years to buy minerals, fossils, precious stones, petrified wood and sculptures.

Hans crossed the island (1100km) many times and made a lot of friends and mineral contacts.

That is why they collect the most beautiful minerals especially for him. The mineral specimens are imported and sold on the best mineral shows in Europe, but also on the website to collectors, therapists and other dealers.

Because we collected all our experience and merchandise in our new shop in Altea, we can supply everybody who would like to have something nice!
