Post-Tucson update

24th March 2009

Post-Tucson update from Fabre Minerals
----------------------------------------------------

After a long period of intense activity that starts in mid January, when we
get ready for the Tucson Show, and ends in March, with the Madrid School of
Mines Show, we have finally been able to prepare the vast majority of the
new material we obtained during Tucson 2009. This update includes a
selection from: Cuprite from the Rubtsovskoye Mine; Plancheite with
Azurite-Malachite
from Milpillas; Azurite from Tafraout; Braunite from N'Chwaning III and the
Aquamarine from Kanchanjung, Nepal. There is also a good selection of other
new material, such as the octahedral Fluorites from Riemvasmaak; the
Rhodochrosites from the Wudong Mine; or the colorful Wulfenites with
Mimetite from the
Ojuela mine.
To end the update there are a group of exceptional specimens: the Kësterite
from Shaobaodin, the Barite with Realgar inclusions from Rumania, the
Chrysocolla pseudomorph after Gypsum from Ray, Arizona, the Azurite rosette
from Sierra Rica, México, the Turquoise pseudomorph after Apatite from the
La Caridad mine, México... So overall, lots of new things, and of great
quality too.
