AUSTRALIA update
13th August 2012
Our new update is a fabulous selection of minerals from Australia. The update features minerals from several classic, sought after locations including:The Broken Hill area, NSW - this famous location is a vast and very complex orebody, one of the world's largest deposits of Lead, Zinc and Silver. Silver was discovered here in 1883, with mining beginning shortly after. There are several different mines that have worked the ore body. Broken Hill has produced many superb mineral specimens and is famous for its Rhodonite associated with Galena, Bustamite, Azurite, Stolzite, Cerussite, and Pyromorphite.
