Post-Munich 2007 Update
13th December 2007
We had hoped to be able to have all the novelties from Munich 2007 ready for
this update, but we still don't have the analyses for the Brazilian Apatites
and the Hematites?/Ilmenites? epitaxial with Rutile from Zambia. So they
will have to wait until the next update, once we have the results.
In the end this update is still excellent, with the new octahedral Fluorites
from Nagar and many other extraordinary specimens, including the
polysynthetic crystals of Pyromorphite, the Chinese Babingtonite and
bi-colored Elbaite from China, the Las Vigas Amethyst, the Italian Sulfur,
the Eudidymite from Mt Malosa, the Brazilian Beryls...and with all these
there is a suite of Peruvian Barites and Rhodonites as well as other quality
