December Update

31st December 2007

Before the New Year arrives, we would like to use this chance to wish our friends and clients a happy New Year and a prosperous 2008.

With the new year we have major news at Fabre Minerals, a new member of the team, Joan Rosell, who is known by those who visit our Forum, has decided to work with us:

So with his arrival we should be able to improve and increase what we offer. As a first demonstration of this we are doing this update. It has 61 specimens and it includes the final batch of novelties we got during Munich 2007. We have also gotten the analysis: the Apatites from the Sapo mine are Fluorapatites and the Rutiles & Hematites from Zambia are pseudomorphic after Ilmenite.

Along with this new material we also have a suite of material related to sites that have been discussed on the forum over the last few weeks: Quartz and Amethyst from Montseny, Fluorite from the Moscona mine, Allanite-(La) from Burguillos del Cerro, and finally a carefully selected group of Pyrites from the Ambasaguas mine.

Tucson is fast approaching, so the next update will be the last before we go to Tucson. In it we will give you more details about what we will be doing in Room 164 of the InnSuites Hotel. For now we can confirm that with Joan Rosell working with us we will now be able to open one day before the official start of the show Friday February 1, instead of February 7, as we had previously said.
