Fabre Minerals
May Update from Fabre Minerals
12th May 2008
The Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Mineral Show is coming, but we continue publishing our updates. In this new one, we particularly highlight 6 Kermesite specimens from China, notable for their quality as well as the fact that this material disappeared from the mineral market some years ago. Along with these, there are a number of extraordinary specimens, such as a Legrandite, exceptional not only for its quality but also to come from the type locality for the species. Also in the update several high level specimens as the Copper from Itauz, a "Saramenha" Topaz from Brazil, an alpine "gwindel" Quartz, among other high quality minerals. Rounding out the update two Spanish suites. One, Fluorite from La Viesca-La Collada and the other, iridescent Goethite from Tharsis.
