Canada has a wide range of natural mineral resources - from the Zeolites in Nova Scotia, to the rare minerals of Mont Saint Hilaire in Quebec, the Apatites and other metamorphic minerals from the Grenville formation, the Amethyst from Thunder Bay, the Gypsums from near Winnipeg, Manitoba, the rare phosphate minerals of the Yukon through to the sulfide minerals from and jade from British Columbia.
