Something else from Northern Finland

Please could someone help me ID these please - thank you.

I have 5 of these tiny deep pink-red wine coloured crystals, all of which are appear to be rombinen or trigoninen in shape, I can see the sides under a x8 hand lens on all of them. The bigest does not appear to be as clear colour as others - they appear more transparent even though very small. I tried scratching it with penknife - nothing! They were found in an area Haukipudas, North west Finland.

Any ideas please?

Many thanks for your help.

They certainly appear to have less side to them than my other almandine garnets.... I prised one out the other day, it appeared rhombinen in shape under a x8 magnification, however, I lost it amongst the pages of my study books!
