Small point, but I wonder if there might be consideration of a way to do the "New Discussions" box on the home page a little differently. I check it occasionally to see whether there is some new discussion listed that's of interest to me. This morning I see that all five discussions are on dolomite crystals (in Italian). The topic is fine, but these really aren't five discussions, they are five messages in the same discussion. If opal is quartz containing water, does it over time, loose its luster and "play of light and color"?
