I recently purchased this nice phosphophyllite on siderite with rough sphalerite, but would like to know weather it was a good deal or not. I bought it for $40. It is an ex-mineral classics piece that is 3.1 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm. It is from the Unificada Mine in Potosi, Bolivia. Pictures are taken under natural light. I'd like to know what its appraised value is. Although phosphophyllite is pretty uncommon stuff, judging from your photos, the majority of crystals on this specimen suffer from some to major damage. A beginning collector with little knowledge and too much money might pays a few hundred, but a more advanced collector would recognize this as being a below-average specimen, and pass on it.
