I have posted 2 other objects in wood with a bridge to minerals:<br />
the one should be a mask with teeth from bad white quartz for wearing at carnival (in Switzerland/Lucerne so called Fasnacht)  and the other could be snakes with teeth of needle quartz from the Claro (tessin, switzerland).<br />

            <description><![CDATA[ A watercolour painting of an aquamarine specimen from Pakistan. This specimen was on display at Tucson in 2011. The painting is on black card (the sort used for matting pictures) using only three watercolour pigments. This is a larger painting than I normally do (see 2nd photo).<br />
