Can you help make this a better article? What good localities have we missed? Can you supply pictures of better specimens than those we show here? Can you give us more and better information about the specimens from these localities? Can you supply better geological or historical information on these localities? After each set of pictures there should be some descriptive text. If none appears it means that we need someone to tell us about the specimens from that locality and something about the geology of the occurrence.

Here will go a general discussion about Hausmannite specimen and Hausmannite in general.

Here will go the various localities that produce good Hausmannite specimens and images of those Hausmannite specimens and some descriptive text about the Hausmannite specimens from those localities. If you have suggestions for this article, add your reply in the thread below.

Sebastian,
I'm sure that when the article is written that other localities will be included. Its just sometime an opportunity presents itself and I find myself opening a thread for a new mineral to take advantage of the circumstance and to act as a place holder where more information like yours can be accommodated. Thanks for the help.

Those are: Ilfeld manganese deposit, Ilfeld, Harz Mts., Thuringia
Ilmenau, Thuringia (TL)
