How to ContributeHwo is the selection of the uploaded pictures

6th Nov 2011 08:49 UTCUwe Ludwig

After I learned how to upload pitures I loaded 4 pictures. If I call my site I read: "Uwe Ludwig has uploaded 2 photos". These pictures I can also find at these locations which I selected. However, if I look on the tab."my photos" I see all 4 pictures.

I agree, that the administrator has to check all the pictures but it would interesting why the 2 pictures have not been matched to the respective locations.

Now you got 3.

As you have guessed, 2 (now 3) of 4 photos have been approved for site-wide display.

The reason that one of the photos is not yet approved is that no manager who knows enough about the matter has dealt with it. I've had a look at it, but am not an expert on that matter, so I leave it to the others.

Note: currently there are 469 photos in line to be approved. This takes time.

Thanks Amir for the answer. Now the pictures are uploaded. So far so good.

However, I noted that you have fluorite not in your mineral list of the Zobes District. Enclosed you receive a valid mineral list of thsi district, unfortunately only in German language. May be it helps you.

"However, I noted that you have fluorite not in your mineral list of the Zobes District."

Not true. Fluorit is listed for the Zobes deposit (including Zobes and Mechelgrün) and, consequently, also for the mining district Zobes-Bergen (since minerals listed for sub-localities are carried over to higher level entries):
