hidden reserve

I would like to lower my hidden reserve or offer free shipping. I figure this is not going to be an option so I will consider making a deal on items that have ended without reaching my hidden reserve. If anyone wants to contact me regarding this please e-mail me at chaotic2creations@live.com

About hidden reserves: I was looking at an item with no bids starting at 0.01 GBP.Nice item, I'll put in a bid of 2.50 GBP with 2 days to go only to be told that the hidden reserve was not met. Who Knew?
I looked on EBay. There was the exact same item listed for $7900!!!!
Wow! is all I can say. Why bother bidding in the first place?

Exactly why many people stop bidding as soon as they find out there's a hidden reserve

Please let me know if a dealer is listing exactly the same item on mindat auctions and ebay.

This is strictly prohibited, and dealers caught doing this will be banned from mindat auctions.

There is no longer a hidden reserve option on new mindat auctions.

Existing auctions with hidden reserves will keep them until they expire, but on editing the auction, the hidden reserve will be removed.

Please be careful when editing an old auction!

I don't like hidden reserves. I've done it once on a different auction and felt almost underhanded. I always indicate in my description that there is no hidden reserve. I start items at the minimum price I can accept. Why play silly games? I agree Jolyon.

I don't mean to be a pain but when will the auction button be back?
