MineralsRadtkeite

Dear Brent,

thank you very much for your nice picture with Radtkeite xls in paragenesis with Kleinite xls from the McDermitt Mine. - Some months ago I have purchased a nice Kleinite from this location, associated with a not declared further yellow-orange secondary Hg-mineral. -

Whith the help of your picture I could solve this problem: It is Radtkeite, without any doubt. - The Radtkeite seems to be "older" than the Kleinite, because Radtkeite forms basal coatings of small vugs and veinlets, overlaid by a "core" of Kleinite xls.

Thank you again!

I wish you a merry Christmas, and best regards from Gera in Thuringia,

Michael
