MineralsTurquoise

I am interested in the value of turquoise rough slabs and cabs to determine pricing for each in my studio

What size slabs do you hope to find? Do you mind if it is reconstructed and or died or stabilized with plastic? Most of the turquoise on the market has had some sort of treatment.

A friend bought a green turquoise ring in New Mexico.

It looks ore like malachite to me. A dark green?

Identifications in literature show light green only?

What would your identification of this green conglomerate looking polished stone.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Even with a picture it would be impossible to say for sure. It could be one or more of several minerals plus what ever treatments that have probably been added.
