Hi,
I'm new to this site, so please forgive my ignorance of protocol. Regarding the Quien Sabe Mine listed as being located in Hollister, San Luis Obispo Co., California, USA, - I believe this location is in error. I am a life-long resident of Hollister, CA, of San Benito County, and am personally familiar with the subject mine. As a youngster in the late 50's, I did some exploring in the mine, which was already in disrepair. It was an antimony mine, and was located just south of Lone Tree Road (a dead end), which is about 10 miles northeast of Hollister, CA, in San Benito County. Lone Tree creek flows nearby where examples of antimony-bearing rock can still be found in the creekbed. I hope this clarifies the location issue for those who may be interested.
