Designation of this locality as Moder or "Modern"(!!!) is completely incorrect!

I can find "Moder" neither in the locality text (http://www.mindat.org/locationedit.php?loc=123611) nor in the history log (http://www.mindat.org/localitychange.php?id=123611).

Dear Uwe, this is possible , but this is one of the misunderstanding transfered from one source to the other .... Trust me I´m live in this valley more than 20 years, and I have on my bibliothek lot of local historical maps, books etc. :-) And I of course collecting the minerals. "Modern" is fully garbled word from Moder mining company in Kopanice established in 16th century which extinct in 18th century. Moder stolna (German: Moder stolln) was old name also for part of Kopanice village under Baniste hill. But this settlement lies few kilometres far away from Kohutovo valley and from Uskrtova valley. This garbled name was written by people who don´t know the local names of village parts, valleys, hills, mines etc.

Glück Auf!

Karsten

I don't quite understood - do you suggest this information (on the wrongly used designation) should be added to the locality description?

(Where exactly did you read Moder or "Modern"?)
