LocalitiesSeinäjoki, South Ostrobothnia, Finland

Hi,

in Borodaev, Y., Mozgova, N., Ozerova, N., Bortnikov, N. Oivanen, P., Iletuinen, O. (1983): Associations Of Ore Minerals In The Deposits Of The Seinajöki District And The Discussion On The Ore Formation, Bull. Geol. Soc. Finland, 55,1, 3-23.

it says on page 15:

"Seinäjokite was first discovered in the ores of the Routakallio deposit (Mozgova et al.1976), where it was associated with Sb-west-erveldite grains of native antimony. Seinäjokite has since been found in only one locality in Ilimaussaq (Karup-Moller, 1978)."

The reference can also be seen here:

Shouldn't then the type locality of Seinajökite be moved to Routakallio?

Best regards

Philip
