Anyone have a definitive location in Peru from where this Grossular and Vesuvianite combination material comes from? I've seen the occasional specimen around and I now have 2 pieces myself. Can't find a location on Mindat....
Location on labels I have: "near Palpa, Ica Dept., Peru"
Another locality I found online is: "Mina Cantera, Casma Prov., Ancash Dept., Peru"
