Just to avoid any confusion - I'm pretty sure what Tom meant is that we will book you a taxi to meet you there (reliable, and our lower rates) - you'll need to pay for the taxi directly to the driver - Maybe if Tom sees this before he goes he'll give you an estimate of how much.

It will be around 5euro per person. We just have to know details of the train.

Hello Tomasz,

About a week ago I asked you about an extra night in Marrakech after the conference. You said that I could perhaps get a room at the conference hotel. I sent a request with details to the conference site with a copy to you at Spirifer. I have heard nothing since, and would like to cancel the provisional booking I had made at another hotel - once I have had confirmation from you. Perhaps my message never arrived???

Hi Tom/all,

I plan to fly back on the 14th to allow time to travel to Marrakech on the 13th and will aslo require a hotel for that extra night. If you are able to help arrange this, that would be really useful!

Will we have access, at one of the hotels, to either a washer/dryer or laundry service? I want to pack the minimum of clothes to maximize space to bring minerals home.

Danny, you don't have to minimise the amount of clothes you take ( I NEVER do! ) just the amount you take home!

I usually ditch 2/3 of the clothes I take with me to make room on the return journey for my 'prizes' - so don't pack all your 'best' or brand new gear
Clothes wrapped around the minerals also help protect them from the rough handling of the baggage guys. My suitcase will also be padded out with bubblewrap,( not wearing that though.....lol)
And you can always wear even more layers on your return trip. just make sure you can bend your arms and legs to sit down!

I sometimes pack well-wrapped treasures in the dirty laundry bag as a deterrent. Just need to remember to take them out before doing the wash! It is definitely getting to be time to start the packing list.

Laundry is no problem in majority of the hotels, problem is that in very few places we will stay for longer than just a night....
