Can any one out there hep me out in furnishing a link to download a program(preferably free)for a before and after picture.Like a mineral in natural light beside one in uv and so on. thanks to all Mike

Hello Mike,
try irfanview It´s a freeware. It has a panorama function, so you can yoin two pictures or to one.
Pictures must have the same size either hight or width.

Mike,
also Xnview is a nice one,
i use it for batch conversions and batch resizing for instance, has quite a lot of possibilities, and its also free like IrfanView,
