This is my list of the most beautiful Mindat micro photos.
Only one photo per photographer (excuse me for including one of my own, it's a bit awkward, I know...).

One picture may be worth a thousand words, but it doesn't describe the equipment used to capture the images. If it were possible, a description of the equipment used would be as important to me as the images themselves.

This is the photo the inspired me to learn about micro-photography - I have miles to go to be able to achieve these results, but this, and the rest of its companions will continue to inspire.

Yes Bryan, I like that one very much too, but I already included Bob's Slipfontein photo. I only want one photo per photographer. I could however replace Bob's Slipfontein Carminite with his Analcime, difficult choice, both are great....

Beautiful color photographs, Here is a opal in black and white as an electron micrograph of a specimen from the Rainbow Ridge Mine in Virgin Valley Mining District, Humboldt Co, NV. I mined specimens from many levels and claims for opal formation research by Prof. Mustoe.
