Mineral PhotographyPhotgraphic system

Perhaps than some photographers could be interested to take photos of specimens (small sizes) to compare the result the of all photographic systems ?

I can send 3 specimens (plactic box) for example and these could turn in the world in a simple letter. And we show results here in 2 differents size : 1024 pix and 12 000 pix.

F. Hède

PS : I know that it's impossible in France (competition seem bad). but for me this challenge is a good idea. Not really a competition, just a game.

And how many people do you think have the equipment to shoot panoramas?

Dear Frederic,

I have seen some of your 12 000 pixel pictures. Really amazing and beautiful. I could do it also, but other than sportive, I do not see a reason for such resolution. Its to much for print media (except posters) and screens.

To compare photographic systems a objective micrometer would do the job, I test my lenses this way.

So I admire your pictures and a good idea. Its like a Formula I race. Good Job, to good for daily use.

I like to make mineral photographs - if it is a new object. Thousands wait in my collection, most are color less.

Volker

I do not know if I'm late to this call. I'm not interested in racing but I find very interesting to share working methods and compare results.
