Tufa from the ancient seabeds of Lavothan Sea in Nevada, with an agate behind the hole...it looks really creepy to me
If I can find my other pic of the entire piece, with two agates, one behind each eye hole...then you will definitely see how the
whole natural formation resembles ET or an Alien...which is amazing.

I guess this isn't exactly what is being discussed, but my avatar is from a photo I took of a piece of pyrite that is attached to the side of a specimen rock. I didn't realize what I had until I looked at the photo onscreen. It's only yellow-gold shaded because I screwed up the lighting setting on the camera.

Here it is in a larger version, attached. FOV is only about 1 cm.

I call him "Lord Crockjaw" because he is on a piece that resembles a jawbone. Unfortunately, I can't find a photo of the whole rock and it is stored away at the moment.

Hi,

There's a group that puts together a table covered with food, all stones, that they display at mineral shows. I've seen it and it is amazing.

Bacon and eggs, cake, pie, you name it, they have a rock that looks JUST like a...
