Woodend is just to the east of Bigrigg, it was quite an old mine, working from about 1840, and it finally closed at the end of 1931 (see Durham Mining Museum page - [www.dmm.org.uk]).
Pyrite on calcite is not that uncommon from Woodend, but is much rarer from other iron mines in the area.

This whole area is a bit of a muddle. If you look on old map sites, you will find quite a few pits here that are not on MINDAT, many were incorporated within different mining companies over time. Also, a number of mines worked the same orebody and were interconnected underground so it was probably somewhat arbitrary which mine a specimen was attributed to and perhaps depended where it was brought to surface.
However, there are various records for Woodend Mine and the 1900 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map shows Woodend Mine located at NY 008 127, with other numbered pits scattered around it, so yes, it ought to be added.
