Hello, I am new to this site and I think it's just right for what I have.
Take a look at the pictures of this rock I found while gold panning in Murphy's Ca.
It has 4 distinct faces on it when rotated 180 deg. about it's xy axis (right/left, up/down)
this is not a joke or a photoshop creation, just a unique rock.
My problem is, I suffered a stroke last Easter (2011) and don't trust myself around it, that is why I made a stand or holder for it so I won't drop it.
Does anyone know of a museum that might be interested in displaying it?
The rock is Quartz and does contain a small amount of gold and also has a crystal right inside the eye section.
I would love to lend it to a museum who could appreciate it and display some of Mother Nature's finest work.
Your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve Graves

First, welcome to Mindat Steve!!
I tend to agree in that a museum more than likely wouldn't even accept it for inventory, let alone display. However, what I would suggest is that if the rock does indeed have gold in it, try to display it in a way that highlights the gold so that you can show it off and be able to say "why yes, I have found gold"!!
