Good Morning all. Hope you day is going well. My favorite for today is a Malachite on Quartz from Africa. I like the way the Malachite cascades over the small quartz crystals. Enjoy and hope to see many of you in Tucson!

Well, I know I have shown this before but not in the mounting that Sunnywood put it in. This is my favorite rock just about everytime I walk by it. Montana agate from the Yellowstone River. the size of this piece is huge for Montana agate with absolutely no flaws, large moss and also large red background banding. Extremely rare. It measures 10.8 cm across, 8.5 cm high and 1.0 cm thick.

All you guy's are having fun in Tucson, so my friend Lawrie St John & l decided to create our own fun, so yesterday Lawrie brought his backhoe 100 miles to dig for Calcites in Stories Quarry, Oakey, South East Queensland.
Well you cant get fresher than these Calcites, straight out of the vug, unwashed, we have dozens of specimens in all sizes, most have to be washed today, so there will be plenty of duplicates if anyone wants to do a trade or something.
These 2 specimens are my favourites.
