Hi Bill,

Yes, I know the San Francisco Mine wulfenites were mined 30 years ago. I just meant that it was a new posting in this thread. These older specimens are some of my favorites. :)

Best wishes,

Thanks you all for sharing your wulfenites! Glad i started this thread and it even spawned some new ones along this line. I would share nice ones I have but we are on the road doing three rock shows back to back selling out lapidary slabs and jewelry up here in Oregon winking smiley It has gone very well for us so far....we managed to buy out a collection of Bisbee Azurites, malachites and native coppers, about 700 plus specimens all collected between 1950 and 1970 and straight out of the collectors family, so one could say they are fresh material! I sure found a KILLER spinel twinned cluster of native copper while reviewing the lot...loads of thumbnail azurite/malachites and full cabinet coppers. Also scored some rare minerals like phillipsburgite, pottsite and kinoite with freestanding xls!!! HAVING FUN!!!! Got to dig thundereggs at the red bed at Richardson ranch and get some boring jasper/agate from the New Ledge, Flame Jasper and Oregon Sunset ledges.
Regards,
Jeffrey Hill

Hi everyone,

How about a nice wulfies from the Stefanie Mine, Bleiberg, Carinthia, Austria.

Do not usually see such blocky crystals from Austrian locations.

Hi Andrew.
Thanks for showing your Austrian Wulfenite, that is the first time that i have seen one from Austria, seen them from Morocco & Yugoslavia but that is a first.
Timothy.
I like your Red Cloud Wulfenite, is it one from those Wayne Thomson found in 1997? i think,
thanks for showing them.

Because I love Wulfenites and I would like to see some more I will add another from Tusmeb Mine, a nice translucent 12mm crystal on matrix.

I hope this might just get some more posted soon.

Hi Henry,

It's been a while since I've checked on this thread, so I didn't see your posting until now. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'm glad you liked my Red Cloud wulfenite. It's actually from the 2003 Red Gem Pocket. :)

Best wishes,
Tim
