Here's one of my best and favorite from Biermann. I found this Columbite (Fe), with a Uraninite Nodule, that has lots of secondaries. Note that it was taken in my backyard under natural sunlight. I wish I new how to photograph a little better... and had a little more time... great pics. Have fun folks.

Chris, thanks for the explanation regarding the chicken. I've been listening to Frank Zappa since 1979 and have a pile of his live shows. Here is a picture you might appreciate-a much younger me and two of my friends. The chicken met a sad fate during my college years, a fate I have never divulged.

Four Beryl crystals from 3 1/2 inches to 5 inches in diameter from Case Quarries that are special to me because of the rediculously hard labor and time it took to remove them from the pegmatite.

Yes I was up there saturday and I did find a large columbite, about 1 inch square and a few others. Some bismuthite. But my best specimen of the day was a doubly terminated quartz crystal which I found on the surface of the No 3 dumps while looking for columbites. I attached a link to it. Dave found a few end pieces in the trench.
