Here's a nice columbite subparallel cluster I dug from the dumps of the Strickland Quarry, back in 1977:

Beautiful specimens. Henry, it's nice to see examples of Prehnite from Woodbury as opposed from Southbury. I hope you don't mind a question on your Purprite. I have long dreamed of finding something like that. Is your piece enhanced in any way to bring out the purple or is it "as dug" so to speak? I have heard that those Mg specimens from Branchville can be more black then purple when found. Many thanks!

One more from the undisclosed mine. Baryte, Calcite, Malachite, Chrysocolla. Not everything I collect makes it inside the house.

Thanks, Rowan. I've spent the last forty minutes trying to photograph some of my more unusual goodies from the Home Depot site in Trumbull to no avail. I'll keep trying.

The purpurite has not been enhanced beyond being given a good cleaning.

Here is a beat up but still nice tiny little gem aquamarine crystal from the Case quarries with both terminations at least partially intact. measures approximately 8mm at largest dimension.
