Wow Stephanie a 747 Stilbite/Chalcedony, absolutely great, Boeing would charge Qantas a fortune for a sparkly paint job like that, LOL
I used to have a Selenite Matrix piece once, the exact shape of Tasmania, i looked it over with my loop, but saw no Crocoites.
Anyway This is my Crocoite.
Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Tasmania.

Philip that's a real mop of red crocoite there! And a splendid cerussite as well.
AM - unusual Moroccan baryte. Looks like a star is born!
Well John I never stopped to count my vessels as it has not been a conscious effort. But here's a blimpy looking apophyllite, or perhaps it is a sub with a large periscope sonar thing. Or a beer tap. You decide. LOL.

Stephanie I really like the airplane? or whatever. I also like the idea of an IBU thread. So many people are so concerned with the absolute flawless perfect specimen that they overlook the odd interesting pieces that only a mother would love. I am always amazed at the form some minerals take even if they are not the most beautiful. I will have to gather some of my IBU. Unfortunately I have gotten so busy lately I haven't had enough time to participate in the mindat discussions as often as i would like but I will look for your IBU thread as well as the dendritic thread. Dendrites can be amazing as well.

Definitely my favorite of the month, even if I never get to see it "live". Weighs about 300kg, so was a chore to retrieve.

Awesome photos!
After reading Tomek's Madagascar report I was reminded again of what it takes to get a specimen from source to here, and I appreciate each piece more for the trek it has to take.
My favourite today is this violet spinel on marble.
Itrafo (Trafo), Ampanivana area, Andrembesoa Commune, Betafo District, Vakinankaratra Region, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
20 x 15mm
Crystal 4mm
