Here's a Spodumene var Kunzite that I fell in love with at the University of Arizona last year on the Obodda exhibit. It was one of those that came up for sale in the Arkenstone this year. I was running late on the opening day and when I went in I made my way, through the crowds, to get to the case and tell them I wanted this. Phew, it was still there.
It was found in three pieces that they discovered fit together.

This Topaz from Brazil is one that a friend brought to the Tucson Show,
The first picture shows the top edge, which is 6" across.

Awesome specimens everyone! Spectacular pieces!
AM - that cerussite is understated elegance. Wow.
My favourite today is a simple specimen of apophyllite. I really like it because the crystals are larger than is typically seen from this location.
As an added bonus it came with a label from David Shannon Minerals, dated 4/85.
Apophyllite with a slight hint of powder blue Kinoite
Christmas Mine, Christmas, Christmas area, Banner District, Dripping Spring Mts, Gila Co., Arizona, USA
specimen size ~ 3cm x 2.3cm

I know i'm being very naughty posting a second time, Gail please before don't whack me too hard,
i was having a lazy Sunday afternoon taking pictures & was excited how this one turned out,
Rutilated double terminated Quartz from PAKISTAN not Brazil
i found it in Tucson this year, shortly after acquiring it a dealer friend said that he had never seen a Rutilated Quartz
from Pakistan before.
size is 6.5cm long, looked like a Japan law twin tried to grow but ran outta steam.
