I was deeply surprised when I read lately a news about the forthcoming shortage of leopoldite for chinese industries, since I never heard about that mineral in more than 60 years of mineralogy practice:

Now I know better, but still wonder what was behind this misleading use of a rarely used synonym of sylvite (by an armchair chinese clerc?) It would perhaps be wise to have a look into a chinese/english mineralogical dictionnary!
